Transform your child's love of animals into a passion for reading with Pages and Paws! This program allows kids between the ages of 6 and 12 to read aloud to registered therapy dogs, building confidence in a friendly and fun environment.
Offered twice a month, Pages and Paws lets man’s best friend become your child’s reading companion for 10 minute sessions. Eager participants can reserve their slots outside of the Story Hour Room 15 minutes before the start time on the day of each program. Space is dependent on number of therapy teams available.
Pages & Paws will be held September 30, October 21, and November 11 from 4-5 pm and September 21, October 12, and November 16 from 2-3 pm.
Participating dogs belong to the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
