Curb It! Curbside Service

Library Closed for Thanksgiving

NPL will be closed at 5 pm Wednesday, November 27 and remain closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on November 30.

Curb It, Curbside Pickup

Curb It is available at our temporary branch location at 201 W. College. Pull up to the window in the first drive-thru lane for service.

Placing a Hold

Place your holds through our online catalog, the RSAcat mobile app, or by calling us at 309-452-1757. Items will be held for seven days.

Once your hold items are ready, you will receive an email notification. If you do not have an email on your account, we will call you to let you know your items are ready to be picked up.

Returns

We are happy to accept returns via our Curb It service.

Items may also be dropped into the book return located in our Fell Avenue parking lot or any of our off-site book drops.

Curb It! Hours

Monday–Thursday: 9 am–8 pm

Friday & Saturday: 9 am–5 pm

Sunday: 1–5 pm

Hours may change based on weather and staff availability.

Browser Packs are available to be picked up through Curb It! Fill out a Browser Pack form to receive a collection of up to 30 items, curated by library staff based on your interests.
