Library Closed for Independence Day

NPL will be closed Thursday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on July 5.

Event Details

Things are getting wild at NPL! Educators from Miller Park Zoo will teach us about several different critters. We will have zoo crafts on the Children’s floor all morning, too.

Registration is required and space is limited for our Zoo-To-You programs at 9:30 and 10:30 am. Every person attending needs to register - that means grown-ups too!

Registration begins at 9:00 am on May 20. Please register for only one Zoo-to-You session.

This activity is for kids of all ages. 

Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult age 16 or older at all summer activities. If you have questions about supervision requirements, please ask!

This free activity is part of our Summer Reading Program for kids. You do not have to be registered for Summer Reading to attend this activity, but it is encouraged!
