Program Description

Event Details

Stride through history, learn about local community members who impacted voting rights in McLean County and Illinois, and find out which famous feminist made her way through Bloomington-Normal.

Walk the Vote begins at the Carden Park playground and continues along the trail. While the history is for all to enjoy, there will also be some seek and find challenges and activities along the trail for kids.

Similar to our Story Walks, this walk is also self-guided and will take about 15 minutes to complete. Enjoy Walk the Vote any time that's convenient for you within the Park's open hours. Please continue to follow social distancing guidelines!

Walk the Vote will be available October 6 through October 16 at noon. The activity is presented in partnership with Normal Parks & Recreation.
