Library Closed for Thanksgiving

NPL will be closed at 5 pm Wednesday, November 27 and remain closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on November 30.

Event Details

Read, Renew, Repeat at NPL! We will be kicking off summer reading at the Uptown Normal Plaza (between the Children's Discovery Museum and Uptown Station) with music and games. Nationally touring musician Little Miss Ann will perform a family-friendly concert from 5:30-6:15, and library staff will be on the plaza with fun activities from 5-7! Register for the summer reading program while you are here! Bringing lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on while Little Miss Ann performs is encouraged.

5:00-7:00: Carnival games, popsicles, rock painting, and more! Staff from the Children's Discovery Museum will be there with fun games!

5:30-6:15: Little Miss Ann performance
