Join NPL and Parks and Recreation as we discover a fun and engaging way to fall in love with books! Come interact with a story through games, activities and a walk in the park. Your trek will last about 30–45 minutes from the time you begin.
The Story Walk will start at the beginning of the Born Learning Trail, which is right next to the east parking lot (near the tennis courts).
This event is great for kids of all ages and their families. You'll be walking on the sidewalk and in the grass.
Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult age 16 or older at all summer activities. If you have questions about supervision requirements, please ask!
This free activity is part of our Summer Reading Program for kids. You do not have to be registered for Summer Reading to attend this activity, but it is encouraged! Register for our Summer Reading Programs for all ages at the library or online anytime between May 29 and August 5.
