Due to the heat, this event will be held indoors at the Community Activity Center at One Normal Plaza, 1110 Douglas Street.

We’re taking the stories and songs you love to the great outdoors! Even if it’s raining, still come out, we will meet at the park’s Community Activity Center.

This event is intended for children ages 3–5 and their grown ups, but all ages are welcome to join! This event will be repeated on July 19 at 10:30 am.

Thanks to Normal Parks & Recreation for partnering with us this month for the Story Walk and Stories in the Park!

Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult age 16 or older at all summer activities. If you have questions about supervision requirements, please ask!

This free activity is part of our Summer Reading Program for kids. You do not have to be registered for Summer Reading to attend this activity, but it is encouraged! Register for our Summer Reading Programs for all ages at the library or online anytime between May 29 and August 5.
