Event Details

Join us at the Challenger Learning Center at Heartland Community College for this exciting mission!

Step on board the space station to conduct experiments and prepare to launch a probe to a comet. Work as a team in mission control as you navigate through space, monitor the crew’s health, and solve problems. Halfway through the mission, switch places with your teammates to experience both the space station and mission control.

This activity is for kids ages 11-15. Registration is required and begins May 25 at 9 am. Space is limited. Registration ends June 5 at 9 pm.

This event is offered thanks to our NASA@ My Library Grant.
The NASA@ My Library project is led by the National Center for Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute. Partners include the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office, Pacific Science Center, Cornerstones of Science, and Education Development Center. NASA@ My Library is made possible through the support of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate as part of its STEM Activation program.
