Library Closed for Thanksgiving

NPL will be closed at 5 pm Wednesday, November 27 and remain closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on November 30.

Trash is piling up! It is filling our landfills and littering our local green spaces and waterways. While many are familiar with the phrase "reduce, reuse, recycle," the Ecology Action Center wants to help you delve deeper.

Join the EAC to discover how to minimize waste at home, understand local recycling practices, and dive into composting—your ticket to diverting food waste! Walk away equipped with McLean County's recycling insights, tips to elevate your composting game, and a general understanding of how you can reduce waste in your home.
