Library Closed for Thanksgiving

NPL will be closed at 5 pm Wednesday, November 27 and remain closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on November 30.

Event Details

Learn something new! Participants will meet once a week to work through an online course with support from others. 

For this learning circle, we will be working through courses from United Nations System Staff College.  Participants will learn about sustainable lifestyle practices and about the role digital technology and innovation can play in advancing sustainability. No prior experience is necessary, beyond basic familiarity with using a computer.

Participants should plan to bring a laptop or other digital device with them, if they have one. Those who do not have one will be able to use a library Chromebook to participate. Participants should plan to attend all five meetings in this program series, as each week’s material will build on the last.

Registration is required and space is limited.
