Program Description

Event Details

Begins October 19 at noon.

Ends October 31 at noon.

Take a spooky walk through Hidden Creek Nature Sanctuary and let Edgar Allen Poe chill your spine with his mysterious prose and stories. Poetry and stories will be spread out throughout the park and may be read in any order.

This activity is best for teens and adults who are ready for a thrill!

Similar to our Story Walks, this walk is also self-guided and will take about 20 minutes to complete. Enjoy Poe in the Park any time that's convenient for you within the Park's open hours. Please continue to follow social distancing guidelines!

Hidden Creek's entrance is located on Sycamore St, just off Constitution Trail between Linden and Fell Avenue.

Thank you to Normal Parks & Recreation for partnering with us to offer Poe in the Park!
