Event Details
McLean County Museum of History will be holding their first Knit In of 2023 at Normal Public Library on Saturday, February 25 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. This event is free, and open to any knitter or crocheter to join!
For the first quarter of 2023, the group will be working on making pet blankets for Comfort for Critters, a social entrepreneurship that donates handmade pet blankets to shelters across the US. Local animal rescues such as the Humane Society of Central Illinois will receive the blankets made by our local knitters.
For more information or any questions, please contact the Museum Education Department at 309-827-0428 or education@mchistory.org.
Grab your needles/hooks, some yarn, and a friend, and come and knit for a bit!
