An Inside Look is a collaboration between Normal Public Library and Heartland Theatre, giving the audience a chance to meet the director and designers of each production. The library provides scripts and related materials, and the theatre provides insight on the creative process.

The current production is THE LION IN WINTER, by James Goldman, a Christmas play set in 1183 in a castle in England, the story of Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, their marriage, their sons, and their ambitions, running November 7-23.

This offsite event takes place at Heartland Theatre, 1110 Douglas St. in Normal, in the Community Activity Center at One Normal Plaza.
