NPL will be closed at 5 pm Wednesday, November 27 and remain closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on November 30.

Event Details

An Inside Look is a collaboration between Normal Public Library and Heartland Theatre, giving the audience a chance to meet the director and designers of each production. The library provides scripts and related materials, and the theatre provides insight on the creative process. 

Experience a conversation with the director and designers of Alias Grace, by Jennifer Blacker, a twisty mystery based on a true crime in Canada and a novel by Margaret Atwood. 

This offsite event takes place at Heartland Theatre, 1110 Douglas St. in Normal, in the Community Activity Center at One Normal Plaza.
