NPL will be closed Thursday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on July 5.

Event Details

Join Illinois Art Station in exploring the power of expressing your ideas through visual artmaking. Classes will be taught and guided by Illinois Art Station teaching artists committed to empowering youth to speak out and tell their stories.  

Learn how artists express opinions about world events using text and symbols.  Practice peaceful protest by learning multiple printmaking techniques to create a poster that expresses your ideas.

This class is for grades 6-12 and space is limited. Registration is required through Illinois Art Station. Visit here for more information and to register.
