Library Closed for Independence Day

NPL will be closed Thursday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on July 5.

Itsy Arts will provide children a safe and playful space where creativity and imagination can flourish and where motor skills, confidence, and expression can be nurtured, honed, and explored.

Classes will be taught and guided by teaching artists and professionals committed to child social development and growth. This program is brought to the library by Illinois Art Station, a project of Illinois State University. Illinois Art Station is an arts center and educational resource that is committed to fostering creative thinking and expression in the visual arts.

For children age 5 and under with an accompanying caregiver. Registration is required and space is limited.

Classes will be held monthly, June through August. Registration is required for each class.
