Illinois Shakespeare Festival sponsors and presents this summer’s Theater for Young Audiences show at NPL! This show is a new play by local author Nancy Steele Brokaw that reveals and celebrates the connections between young Abraham Lincoln and William Shakespeare.
This show is best for school-age kids and their families, but all are welcome to attend. If you can't make it to the show at the library but would still like to see it, visit the Shakespeare Festival website for more free performances.
Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult age 16 or older at all summer activities. If you have questions about supervision requirements, please ask!
This free activity is part of our Reading Takes You Everywhere Summer Reading Program for kids. You do not have to be registered for Summer Reading to attend this activity, but it is encouraged! Register for the Summer Reading Program at the library or online at rebrand.ly/nplsummer anytime between May 30 and August 6.
