Library Closed for Independence Day

NPL will be closed Thursday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on July 5.

Have a hard time fitting a book club into your schedule? Every month we will discuss a short story, essay or article.

This month we will be discussing "Help Me Follow My Sister into the Land of the Dead" by Carmen Maria Machado.

This event will take place outside, on the east side of the Community Activity Center at 1110 Douglas St., Normal, the building to the north of the circular drive at One Normal Plaza. In case of inclement weather, the event will be inside the Community Activity Center, in the classroom. If the event is held inside, masks will be required for everyone attending.

This event is for adults. Registration is required and space is limited.
