Many Illinois gardeners believe that the cause of declining monarch butterfly populations is due to the lack of milkweed in the summer breeding areas of our state. However, some scientists at the University of Illinois believe a lack of floral resources in the fall months may also be contributing to the decline.

Kelly Allsup will be here to share an update on monarchs and suggestions on fall bloomers that are a must have in a fall butterfly garden.

Open to all ages.
