NPL will be closed Thursday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on July 5.

In Illinois there are three major book awards – Monarch, Bluestem, and Caudill – and KIDS vote for the winners!

Get ready to cast your vote in February by playing a game of Book Award Bingo! You’ll discover new books, enjoy outstanding children's literature, and earn a certificate and prize package.

Pick up your Book Award Bingo card at any service desk or curbside. Turn in your completed card to the Children’s Services desk by February 28.
