Event Details

PLEASE NOTE: This event, previously scheduled to be both in-person and virtual, will now only be held virtually, via Zoom.

Genetic genealogy expert Michelle Wilson will lead participants through a DNA case study to identify the biological parents of two related adoptees. Learn how the processes of separating maternal and paternal relatives, gaining access to locked trees, gathering necessary genealogical records, working up pedigrees, and narrowing down candidates actually works in practice when researching family trees involving adoptions.

Registration is required and space is limited.

Sponsored by the NPL Foundation.
