Event Details

Please join Illinois State University Speech Pathology graduate student Lauren Mende to learn more about the benefits of shared book reading and how it supports early literacy development.

Held on Zoom.

Participants will learn to help support children’s early literacy skills and learn techniques to facilitate a child’s language skills as they transition into kindergarten. Participants will be emailed materials such as a list of recommended books and guided reading questions to further expand and support skills learned during this presentation when reading with their child/children at home.

This presentation is geared towards parents and caregivers of children ages 3 and above. Space is limited and registration is required. Registration begins June 8 at 9 am.
