Library Closed for Independence Day

NPL will be closed Thursday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. Our Fell Avenue lot bookdrop and off-site bookdrops will remain available. We will reopen at 9 am on July 5.

Event Details

We will be making drawstring cinch backpacks for the Weekend Food Back Pack program at Bloomington High School. Stop in and help us out!

The Weekend Food Back Pack program gives low income/homeless food insecure teens an opportunity to obtain food for the weekends.

Normal Public Library will be providing the materials for this project. We ask that participants have sewing machine skills. Please feel free to BYOSM - bring your own sewing machine!

Patterns and instructions will be available at the circulation desk for those who wish to work from home.
