KidsProgram Description
Event Details
This program will be held inside the Normal Masonic Lodge due to rain.
Join the Ecology Action Center for an exciting library program featuring the book Adventures of an Aluminum Can by Alison Inches. Through the humorous diary entries of a can, kids will learn about the journey of aluminum, from manufacturing to recycling. This engaging story will spark meaningful discussions about recycling and landfills and is suitable for children of all ages. After the story, participants will have the opportunity to emboss a sheet of aluminum made from a recycled aluminum can.
This story time will be outside the Normal Masonic Lodge in the grass as the weather is nice, and inside the lodge if it rains. Please bring any blankets and lawn chairs you would like to use, but small seat cushions will be provided by the library.
Stop by the pop-up library and summer reading Book Bucks store after the program!
